Primary expertise 

Celine has extensive experience in managing, protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights, including trademarks, design and copyright. For many years, she has been managing large domestic and international trademark and design portfolios and is particularly strong in general and strategic trademark and design counselling, developing and implementing trademark and designs protection strategies, providing availability and infringement opinions, prosecution and enforcement, as well as oppositions and other administrative procedures, including domain name complaints. She also holds strong experience in counterfeit and customs matters. 

Her clients span from small Norwegian businesses to large international corporations within all sectors of consumer goods and commodities, including media, entertainment, consumer products, fashion industry, automotive, food and drinks, pharmaceutical, IT, and manufacturing fields, etc.

Background 

Celine joined Bryn Aarflot in 2005 and has been a partner at the firm since 2010.

Celine graduated with a law degree from the University of Oslo and holds an LLM in Information Technology and Communications Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has been working as a legal advisor at the Norwegian Industrial Property Office and as an attorney at law at the general law firm Ro, Sommernes & Co. She was admitted to the Norwegian Bar in 2006.
