Well-renowned Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) and IP Stars has awarded Bryn Aarflot the prestigious “Firm of the Year” title in the IP prosecution category for Norway as part of its Global IP Awards 2017. The award is based on extensive research and feedback from more than 10 000 clients and IP professionals world wide.

This is the most prestigious annual award for firms working in the field of intellectual property. After being awarded the “IP Firm of the Year” title for 2016, we see this year’s win as an important recognition of our continuous efforts to meet our clients’ different and changing needs and demands across all disciplines of IP. A great “thank you” goes out to our strong team of patent attorneys and lawyers, as well as our valued clients and peers, who have contributed to the research for this year’s awards”, says CEO Kristine Aarflot.

Bryn Aarflot is a full-service IP firm offering technical and legal expertise on all levels across all areas of IP. The firm focuses on adapting to client needs and offering sound and practical IP advice.

“There are many firms that offer legal services within intellectual property law. What sets us apart from most of our competitors is that we have strong teams of both lawyers and patent attorneys in-house, and that we have teams focusing on both prosecution and enforcement. Throughout the last few years, we have had a number of proceedings before the lower and higher courts in both patent and trademark matters. The fact that we have experts within all technical disciplines as well as experienced IP litigators puts us in a unique position to tailor interdisciplinary teams that suit our clients’ needs in each situation”, says Aarflot.

The award ceremony took place at the Savoy Hotel in London on 9 March 2017.
